Fall Refresh

Recently we thought we were going to sell our house and move.  In this timeframe we started "getting the house ready" to put on the market.  That included one thing that we always said we were going to do when we moved in.  The backyard!  Well, the boys came, and life got insanely busy and expensive and we never did it.  Until now. The good news is that we are not moving, we are staying put.  And the even better news?? We have a NEW redone backyard!

The backyard basically had no grass, was so uneven that it would not drain causing all kinds of issues, and was just down right nasty.  Justin and his crew did tons of work getting it ready.. the pay off?  We actually get to play back there!  Justin fixed the drainage system, then they hauled in the top soil (back breaking labor) and evened it out and then sod on the entire yard.  Oh yeah!

The dirt on the lot next door!
All carried in by hand to the backyard

Brad the neighbor giving advice (he agreed with me.. Ha!)

Here comes the dirt

Grass!!!

More Grass!
Look how much we love it!  We had friends over last night and we all actually got to sit outside in the beautiful weather, listening to music, and watching all our kids run around and play in the backyard.

And speaking of fall refresh, I finally got to do some work this week on my front porch.. including some Pinterest inspired pumpkins!  You can find my inspiration here at Tiny Prints Blog.

And they turned out great!

Happy Fall Y'all!!
