New Friends and Celebrating New Babies

A couple of weeks ago we spent the weekend in Austin.  Justin is apparently really good at making friends at weddings because both couples that we stayed with Justin met through other friends at weddings!

On Friday, we met up with The Coley's.  They recently moved to Austin from Denver and Justin reconnected with Brent.  It was great to meet his wife and sweet baby girl Emory too.  We spent the afternoon at Austin's amazing Zilker park and took the train ride again. This time the boys really loved it. They both (but especially Eli) are kinda obsessed with trains.  Every morning Eli wakes up and says "watch choo choo trains" and we get our morning dose of Chuggington while they eat breakfast.  They were super excited about the "tunnel"  We always have to build a tunnel with our track when play.  Its about 20 minutes and we saw lots of interesting people, dogs, turtle's, fish, etc.  And they played on the playground some too but it was still kinda warm for that.

On the train.  That is Beckett's shy face :-)

After the train ride we met up with Brent at one of our favorite places that The Cullen's introduced us too, Freddy's.  It is the most kid friendly place I have ever been too.. First of all, outside there is a playground and everything is covered with pea gravel or as my two would say "wocks" And they let you throw them.  And then a band starts and the kids love the music.  The best part, the food is great.  Not all "kiddy" and super yummy.

On Saturday we headed over to spend the day with The Cullen's.  I was so excited to celebrate the anticipated arrival of their baby!  Here is the glowing gorgeous fashion mom.. How beautiful is she?

The shower was fantastic and I took pictures for her but on her camera so none to share here but we had a great time.  You can read all the details here Oh Baby.

Saturday afternoon was just spent watching football, hanging out, playing, relaxing, great conversation, and unpacking of all things baby.

A great weekend spent making new friends and celebrating the blessings of friends.
