The Roberts Christmas 2010
Christmas giving finally came to a close for us on Tuesday night. The Roberts family arrived from Alabama for a Christmas visit.
Earlier in the month Dee Dee started her 12 days of Christmas so the boys had been opening special small gifts from them daily. Some of their favorites? The nativity scene, a super cute snowman for their nursery door, and cell phones with special messages recorded. Funny store about their recordable book.. the Riley's gave them the same one! Now they can listen to both sets of grandparents read The Night Before Christmas each year.
The boys had a blast opening presents .. Eli has become quite a pro at deciding which to open next. They LOVED their race car set. Eli pushed the little cars everywhere.. it only came with 2 cars.. 1 for each hand! So little Beckett will be getting a special trip to get another set of race cars. Amazing that it took them about 3 minutes to figure out how to work the car elevator.
Justin and I were super excited about our presents!! Guess what Justin got??
And I got an amazing gift... a Mac Book Pro!! Yes! I have now become totally engrossed and obsessed. More creative things to show from that coming soon.. I hope!
Now that Dee Dee has opened her present, I can share a picture of the gift she and Gamma both got for Christmas. I attended a Piggies and Paws home party. They really are the cutest gifts and I got 2 for myself. They are art done with hand and footprints. The one I got for the grandmother's was a gorgeous cross made with both boys feet. I got super cute sailboats for the boys for their room.
Christmas this year has been so special and fun with 2 little guys. The joy and excitement in their eyes, the laughter, the cuteness in their Christmas pajamas, my first "homemade gifts"...
I have too many Christmas blessings to count! We love that our family loves our boys so much and thank God for them each day. May we always keep this excitement of Jesus birth in our hearts all year long..
