Birthday Month!
So we have been celebrating birthday month in the Riley household. It seems like a different box arrives each week full or surprises and goodies for the celebration of this very special 1st birthday. We have had a blast!!! (and I don't just mean the boys :-)
Dee Dee & Poppy hooked us up with some very special toys. We got a tunnel & ball bit complete with over 200 balls, a wagon (every set of twins needs ones) and a castle/fort slide. The ball pit is awesome.. even if they end up all over the house. The boys laugh so hard with Beckett sitting in the ball pit, then Eli will crawl down the tunnel and surpise him! Not to mention how fun the actual box that the tunnel & ball pit arrived in is when you use it to push around 2 little boys :-)
We love wagon rides. We take one every evening when mom gets home from work. We like to load up our wagon with balls & farm animals. We stop by and visit the neighbors. Sometimes we put our drinks in the cup holders to we can sip and relax on our evening walks.
The slide makes it a little more difficult to get pictures. I am always nervous! Eli loves to crawl up the side and slide down face first. Even if he face plants, it doesn't bother him. Beckett doesn't so much like to be rough so he usually hangs out on the blankets and watches unless I can help him slide and play. This is going to be awesome as we grow and play.
We were hanging out on the back porch when we were delivered a birthday box from Gamma & Big Poppa. Here we are reading our cards & playing with our funny glasses Big Poppa picked out for us. We tried on our new hat and got some really cute new clothes.
Preperations are under way for the 1st birthday party.... we are so excited!!!!!!!!!!
