It's 5:00 Somewhere

This week Justin and I went to our first Jimmy Buffett concert.  We hare HUGE fans especially with Justin being from Destin the songs are just a way of life for him growing up.  And of course, being from Alabama we love our Jimmy and sister LuLu. My mom was in town and kept the boys.  The concert was in the Woodlands at the Cynthia Woods Pavillion.  Perfect outdoor venue for some Jimmy.

We had heard all about the tailgating and sights to see so we got there early.   One of the first stops was the Margaritaville tent.  They were giving away all kinds of samples Margaritaville mix and the foods that they have .. shrimp, dips, etc.  I even got a Margaritaville tattoo!  (Temporarily of course)

We headed over to the Official Jimmy Buffett Tailgating lot.  What fun!  Grilling out, tiki bars, grass skirts, kids dressed as pirates, pirate flags, and so many fun set ups.  We walked around looking for awhile and then propped our chairs up near the fountain, got our margaritas out and enjoyed the sights.

The concert was great.. unfortunately they wouldn't let me take my camera in.  They said my camera is "professional equipment".. oh well.  So I don't have any great pics.  But before the concert we sat in the lawn in the grass with so many great people.  Beach balls flying in the air, sharks, and of course parrots.

Sure made me want to change my latitude!
With these changes in latitudes, changes in attitudes

Nothing remains quite the same
With all of my running and all of my cunning
If I couldnt laugh I just would go insane
If we couldnt laugh we just would go insane
If we werent all crazy we would go insane
