House of Blues Gospel Brunch

By Sunday morning we recovered and headed out for our next adventure. Since we were going to church in the evening for the dedication, I got us all tickets to the Sunday morning Gospel Brunch at the House of Blues. Our friends had been before and said that we would love it, and it did not disappoint! The food was amazing. There was an omelet station, a huge buffett with a great selection, a carving station, and of course.. the dessert table. My friend Leah told me that the Banana Bread Pudding with White Chocolate Sauce was worth the price of the ticket.. and she was right! It is quite possibly a sin to serve that at a gospel brunch :-)

The show was great. There was a lot of hand clapping, praise & worship, dancing and good time had by all. The waiter came around and asked us if we had a special occasion like a birthday or anniversary and we told them we were celebrating Beckett & Eli's dedication. Later in the show, they called us up on stage with some other people celebrating different event and we did a "victory dance." It was fun! Beckett & Eli can say they made the stage at the House of Blues :-)
Good food, great company, and amazing worship. An awesome Sunday morning.
