Baby Gift Surprises and 27 weeek Update
These babies are so blessed to have lots of friends and family that love them. We have received a few baby gift surprises and that is so much fun! You never know what the UPS man is bringing :-) 
Our sweet friend the Highlanders, sent the boys these Bama Blankets. Which is especially sweet, since they are huge Gator fans. I think they are definitely better people than me. Not sure I can bring myself to buy an orange blanket! She is due soon with a baby boy so I can't wait for them to grow up together. So thoughtful of them to think us. We love them!
We are having a shower this weekend here in Houston with our Sunday school class. My mom is actually flying in tomorrow and will be here for the weekend. I got the cutest new dress (because nothing else fits me :-) with a gift certificate I had gotten from Pickles and Ice Cream. Can't wait to wear it and takes pics. Really the nicest maternity wear that I have purchased.
Speaking of growing fast, we had our 27 week check up today! Both boys are huge!! Baby A weighs in at 2lbs 7 oz and Baby B at 2 lb 6 oz. The average weight for a single baby at 27 weeks is 2 lbs 8 ozs so both of are boys are right on track which is a blessing considering there are 2 in there. The measured about a week and half ahead of schedule. Mom has gained 40 lbs. Looks like all that protein has made some big boys. Its getting harder to see their faces on the 4d now. Too many arms and cords floating around. We got a great profile on Baby A and a cute picture of Baby B.. his nose was right on Baby A's little foot. They are all cuddled up in there. I still need to scan some so I can post them. We are rocking and rolling right along now. Looks like I will work for 3 more weeks. My doctor thought 3o weeks was a realistic (however she did say lofty :-) goal. I think I can make it. I just have to not push myself so hard and remember that I have limitations now. We will see how much more uncomfortable I get.

Justin has family in Arkansas and his Aunt MaryJane sent us our swing. It is still in the box and needs to be put together but we are working on all those little things. They actually have the first grandbaby due on their side of the family too.. lots of Riley blessings in 2009. We love the browns of the swings. Hoping it blends a little better with my living room :-) Still getting use to the idea of the baby clutter that I know is going to consume us. Can't wait for 2 little boys to be swinging!
We also received one of our car seats. (and have knowledge that a second one will arrive soon!) We were so excited to see it arrive. Makes it so real thinking that not too long from now we will be bringing home little boys in these. I, of course, love the red but Justin says its for the Wolfpack. (we can just let him think that). Either way, these are great carseats and we are so grateful to Justin's parents for making sure our babies are safe and sound in the car. We also got the 30lb limit so hopefully they can use it longer than the regular infant seats.

We are both so grateful and blessed that God has chosen us for these little boys. It can be overwhelming and I have had several "mental breakdown days" thinking of all we will need to do, and the responsibilities, and the financial changes. And then I pray and God answers. He is sufficient for all my needs. He has brought me this far and He will be with me every step of the way. Thank you so much for praying for us and our little boys!
