More Grandparents, Turtles, and Twin friends

Last week our Riley grandparents came to visit.  Justin was out of town and I had to work so the boys spent some really special time with Gamma and Big Poppa.  On Friday, they scored a trip to the Houston Aquarium.  The boys love "animals or aminals" as it comes out sometimes.  Looks like the had a blast.  They each came home with their own special turtle that has traveled everywhere with us for the last few days.  We will be taking those to show and tell at school this week too.

We did some relaxing and hanging out together over the weekend.  Watching some tv (Swamp People and the alligators) with Big Poppa and swimming at the neighbors.

The boys went to the park and saw the ducks and all the other "critters" and took a walk.

On Sunday we had a very special treat.  We met our best friends the Galloways and their sweet twin boys at the Houston Children's Museum to play.  The boys LOVED the museum.  Kinda crazy and overwhelming and it was really crowded too.  There were kids everywhere!  I can't wait to take them back sometime during the week so they can really explore all the fun exhibits.  We went a little early and did some of the "big kid" activities before heading to the toddler area to meet Beau and Dax.

The toddler play area is for 36 months and under.  No shoes allowed.  And so much fun!  Everywhere you turn there is an activity for the little ones.  Opening doors, mirrors, balls, climbing gyms, slides, dress up, and much more. I think we enjoyed it all!

The Galloways and The Rileys - so many boys!

Then we got really brave and all went to dinner together!  Yes, we asked for a table for 10.  6 adults and 4 high chairs.  A room full of twins.  Dinner went as expected with all 4 boys doing great at first.  As soon as their tummies were full though.. they were over it!  We ended up taking Beckett and Eli outside but they were ok with that because they had a sandbox.  A great way to finish off a fun afternoon with our twin friends.

Thank goodness we had an extra set of hands!

The boys really had a great time with the Riley's.  Eli woke up every morning and sometimes in the night saying "Poppa? Turtle? Poppa? Turtle?"  They became the best of friends.

These boys sure are loved!
