The Riley Family Visit
We packed in SO MUCH during the time we spent with each family. We didn't waste a minute of any of our time together. Here are my favorite memories from this part of the Riley vacation..
Visiting with Justin's grandma - who we only see once a year. It was great to have her spend time with the great grandsons.
Lunch at David's Catfish (the boys FAVORITE.. um.. Mommy too :-)
Visiting with Nana and Papa - and our cute new rocking chairs
Riding the golf cart with Papa and Big Poppa - you would think they were on a ride at Disneyworld they were so excited.
Eli's face when he first got to the cabin
Playing on the riverbank in the shells, sticks, mud, and other little boy stuff
Riding the boat with our big Poppa
Playing with our cousins! One of my absolute favorite parts was seeing Uncle Woody and Aunt Nikki and their sweet girls Charis and Addy Kate. You might remember that Nikki is the brave woman who kept my twins and Charis for 2 weeks while pregnant so I could go back to work! It was a blessing to spend time with them and to have our kids play together. One of the sweetest moments of the trip for me was when they were leaving I was standing talking to Nikki and we were watching Charis play. Charis looked up and pointed to me and said, "Hers loves me" Why yes I do sweet child. Why yes I do.
The kids making homemade ice cream with Big Poppa
Eli icing his head after one of his many accidents (flipping from a hammock, falling out of a swing, walking into a table to name a few)
Meeting new cousins - we finally got to meet our cousin baby Silas. We enjoyed spending time with some of Justin's Arkansas family and the boys got to spend time with their Aunt Mary Jane.
Eating watermelon on a warm sunny summer (well ..almost) day at the cabin - Loving the watermelon juice running down Beckett's tummy.
No family visit with us is complete without family pics... Love Them!!
Time with family is always so precious now that we live far away. We certainly left the Riley's with sweet memories, tears, hugs, and lots of love and anticipation for the next visit!!
