Our Personal Thank You

So I finally got all the thank you cards out in the mail from the boys birthday party and now I can show our little craft project.  I think it was my favorite part of the party.

We made our thank you cards to send to all the sweet people who sent us and brought us something very special. 

Yes.. we made 30 cards!  That would be 60 tiny handprints :-) I bought craft paper cards and stamped the top with "Thank you! I loved your gift" and then we used brown water based paint to get the handprints.  I wish that I had a picture to show you the step by step process but when I tell you paint was everywhere... I mean everywhere!  Beckett cried and acted very dramatic about the process (and yes.. that is paint on Beckett's face.. not chocolate!) but Eli just giggled and laughed when we would paint his hand.. 30 times each.  Exhausting!  But we were laughing so hard it was a blast.  And the boys enjoyed the clean up!
