Raccoons and Wrestling

So the 2 topics in this post are totally unrelated but sound good together so here they are.

We have had a late night nemesis ever since we moved into this house. I am not sure if I blogged about the story of Justin being out of town and the dogs setting off the alarm trying to get out of the house to get "something".  I hid in the bathroom with my pistol until the cops came!  We have been through endless lbs of cat food.  Trashed destroyed.  Lots of barking all night long.  We investigated and decided it was definitely a raccoon.  We found some suspicious tracks in the lot next door.  Justin bought a trap months ago and we haven't been able to catch anything in it.. except our cat :-)

Friday night, Justin came into the bedroom and told me to look out the window.  In the glow of the streetlight was a big, furry, raccoon sitting on top of our trash having a grand old time.  Justin went to get the trap.  He put it out by the trash cans and put some trash in it.

The next morning.. we had a new friend!! Ha!

We caught the little rascal.  By the way, Mr. Raccoon was extremely mad and aggressive.  He was "barking" .. did you know they bark like dogs and growl like crazy.  Not happy about the trap situation or the fact that we let the dogs run around and growl at it a little bit.  Later that morning, Justin took it up to Tomball and let it go on the side of the road into the woods.

I know I have blogged before about Justin's favorite activity with the boys being wrestling.  Everyday since they were tiny, he has made them wrestle.  They love it!!  Well, I should say.. whoever is on top loves it.  They are finally getting big enough to hold themselves up.  They have funny tricks, holding on to each others hands, maybe grabbing an ear, kicking.

Can you imagine how crazy my house is going to be as they get older???
