Dee Dee's 12 days of Christmas #1

One of my mom's best friends, Ms Jean, has a tradition she does with her grandchildren for 12 days of Christmas. For 12 days leading up to Christmas the grandchildren receive a small gift each day. My mom has been doing this for my little sister as a special tradition each year. Now its the boys turn. When she was here she wrapped up 12 small gifts for them to open. In the coming years, I know this will be so exciting for the boys each day! Can you imagine the anticipation of Christmas morning growing each and every day? The joy of childhood! This year, she asked that I start early instead of waiting 12 days before Christmas and go ahead and open so that I can use the gifts for the boys at Christmas this year. Yesterday we opened our day 1 gift and the boys got flannel snowman sheets from Pottery Barn for their cribs. They are so soft and snuggly. I washed them last night and am putting them on their beds. They can have sweet Christmas dreams sleeping on their new soft holiday sheets. Thanks Dee Dee.
