Bubba Visits and Bama Babies
Last week, my brother visited Houston for the first time since we moved here. We picked him up at the airport on Sunday night and he stayed until Friday. We had a great time. Unfortunately I can't really do much now and I had to work all week but we did get to spend some good time together and have a relaxing visit. He and Justin spent a night in Austin with some friends.
While he was here, the air conditioner went out in our house. We knew there were some issues with it. It has not really worked right since we moved in. The good thing is it is under warranty so we got a new one! But it took all week for the new
one to come.. and it was SO HOT in this house. Justin went to Lowe's and bought a portable window unit and I made them go to Walmart at 11:00 at night to get fans because I could not sleep. My bedroom became the only air conditioned room in the house. I came home from work to find them both camped out in my bed watching TV. I just crawled in the middle! On Thursday night, we had a 
"family night". JB, Justin, me, and both dogs all slept in the same room. We laughed and laughed. JB moved the mattress from the guest room in and the puppies slept on their beds. We cranked that portable temperature down low, put it on high and turned the fans on. It was like being in a hotel. Great memories :-)
Saturday night, we kicked off football season at our friends The Galloways. Curtis also went to Bama so it was nice to have "family" to watch the game with here in Texas. We had a delicious game day dinner complete with BBQ chicken and cheesy potatoe casserole. The baby boys loved it.. The kicked and kicked when our screaming got out of hand!
