Everything is bigger in Texas..

So we had a little dinner get together over the holidays. Everyone had left and it was pretty late, Justin and Marcus were taking out the trash and opened the door to the garage. Sitting right by the door (eating cat food) was the huge friend the Texas opposum. Okay -so I am from Alabama and we all know about opposums. But this was one was huge!! Julie totally did not believe us at all .. but stood on a chair just in case he ran inside. I had to take a pic and come back inside to show her! Marcus and Justin tried "shooing" the critter with brooms and running it out of the garage. I called Lynn (my father in-law) and the person I knew best to handle this situation late at night. He told us to scare it, wait for it to "play opposum" and then carry it out. So - Justin got an extension cord and seriously lassoed it around the neck and walked it out. So Crazy!
