2 dogs, a cat, and 10 hours in a car

So we packed (well a moving company did) and loaded a semi (well a moving company did), loaded up the 2 dogs and the cat and headed West. We moved to Houston, Texas last week for a promotion for Justin's job with JB Hunt Transportation. I completed my last day with Wachovia Alabama (start with Wachovia Houston in a week) and we left Birmingham. I made it to the Bessemer exit before the crying started. I was trying to be really brave for Justin but it didn't work. So he pulled over at Sonic for a treat to make me feel better :-) We got to Jackson about 9:00 to stay at our "pet-friendly" hotel.

So we unloaded the animals and then decided to take them on a walk. Well I had this great idea to walk the cat on a leash. Bad.. Bad.. idea. She flopped around so much like a fish on a hook that I thought she was going to break her neck! Justin called a friend of his in Jackson and we met them at a really cool bar called The Bulldog while the pets had a party at the hotel. It was nice to break up the drive and have a little fun!
