Hotel Fun
For the birthday trip to San Antonio we stayed at the Hilton Hill Country Resort. We really haven't stayed in that many hotels with the boys so this was a treat and super fun for them. The boys had slept most of the way so when we arrived Thursday night.. they were WILD! A felt like we were rock stars trashing a hotel room. No glass, trash can, telephone, alarm clock, remote control, ice bucket, etc went untouched!
What's a hotel stay without a pillow fight?? Please excuse the 4th of July shirts.. they are super soft and great for sleeping :-)

The next morning brought lots more fun and antics!
opening our golf clubs from Ma |
Beckett actually did not do this, Eli did. |
Poor Beckett came to see what was going on and caught in the middle |
Dad had to go work for awhile and left us for naps and lunch. Pizza in bed.. oh yeah! 3 hour naps for mom and babies.. oh yeah!
Then Poppy and Dee Dee arrived with a suitcase full of toys and the fun got even crazier!
the "ride"... Eli says "that was fun!" |
Beckett says "one more time poppy" |
One of the favorite parts of the hotel was the fire pits with nightly smores roasting. They provided the sticks and you could purchase the other supplies (we had brought our own though) and at night everyone sits around the fire pits and watches a movie on a huge outdoor screen. It was a beautiful hill country evening, sky was full of stars, as we sat around watching the movie and playing. Definitely one of the highlights.
Another favorite activity of the boys? Playing in the banquet halls with Poppy and Dee Dee! They found a stage and put on many dancing and singing performances for us. Beckett found his true rock star calling when he located a pair of left over sunglasses from a wedding the night before and Eli surprisingly played us some tunes on the piano.
Sweet moments - Poppy brushing teeth and the boys looking so cute in their new "mater" pj's.
Fun times.. and we didn't even leave the hotel yet! If you ever go to Seaworld this hotel has its positives and its negatives but either way with 2 year old twins IT'S TONS OF FUN!
