Hospital and Baby Registry
While my mom was here visiting, I took a day off work to get some baby things done with her. On Friday morning, Justin, Mom, and Me went to tour and register at the hospital. We were lucky to receive the VIP tour from our friend Jennifer. (Thank you!!) She is a labor and delivery nurse at the hospital where we are delivering. I feel so reassured by having her expertise and reassurance. She is such a blessing to us. She also helped us find our doctor who we love. We were really impressed with the hospital. We went into the NICU to just see. We were told that it is best to not let your child be the first you see in that environment. The tiny tiny babies in there made both my mom and I cry. And we cried some more over the weekend talking about them. I would love for these babies to make it full term and not need a trip there but I feel better being prepared and seeing the care the babies are getting there. We pre-registered at the hospital so all of that is in order.
After the hospital we had lunch and then headed to register for Babies R Us. Justin is very thankful we let him skip this because we were there almost 3 hours! We registered for most things that we need. We are having one more shower here in Houston but mainly it will also provide a list for things for Justin to pick up when I am on bed rest. We had a great time but I was very very tired by the end of the day. Lots of walking and I crashed when I got home. Mom and I had so much fun looking and planning for the boys though.. it was worth it.
