Pickles, Popcorn, and Packing.. (17 weeks!)
House update: For those of you who are my friend on facebook, you are aware that we are having housing drama. Here is a quick recap. When we moved to Houston in December, we signed a 6 month rental lease on a house until we could find our way better in Houston and new where we wanted to live. We found a house, put in a contract, and applied for loan first of April. We set a closing date of 60 days. Plenty of time we are told. Ha! The lender has missed the closing date 4 times. As of today, supposedly the seller has the loan docs and we will get to sign them tomorrow, Monday June 22nd. Ridiculous. To add to the stress I have felt, we have to be out by June 30th and have hired movers for the 27th of June. This is not how I operate. We are replacing the counter tops and carpets which are a much needed upgrade and the house will be perfect. If we had closed on time, it was plenty of time in my perfectly planned out world for the carpet and counter tops to be done by the time we moved in on the 27th. But as we all know, life doesn't work out as planned. So we are moving in and putting all our furniture in the living room and dining room until the carpet is finised in about 2 weeks. Also can't put anything in the cabinets because they have to be empty for the counter tops to be installed. Chaos!! I really can't get in to the horrible story of the lender situation because I work for the company, they bought us and we are in a merger so I will be not say much about that experience here on the blog. As soon as we close, I will post pics. I don't want to jinx myself since we technically don't own it yet!

Everything appears to be moving along well with the pregnancy. I was discouraged earlier in the week with the weight gain but weighed today and have gained that back. I am up 5 lbs since last dr's visit 2 weeks ago. But still not where I need to be. The babies must be getting big because I am killing some calories. Thanks to everyone for the sweet suggestions. I am trying them. I haven't grown any around the belly button but I have had a lot of pain in my upper abs right below the clavicle area at that very top part of your stomach. I complained for a couple of days about it and low and behold, it just popped out. So I am growing more round higher up. They are making all the room they can get in there. Once we get moved, I am going to really start getting things together for the babies. I just didn't want to buy anything then have to move it. Or store it if we ended up homeless! I am really look forward to Justin's parents coming out in a couple of weeks to get started on the nursery. Big Poppa is going to help us paint and make some shelves and different ideas that I have. I will be sure to post pictures.
Please continue to pray specifically for our move and the next doctor's appt. We are scheduled for the specialist on July 2nd. This will be a big appt. From what I read the majority of complications with multiples happen starting in the 20's. Thank you so much for your continued encouragement. You have no idea how much it keeps my spirits up when I start to feel overwhelmed.
Love, Luann and Justin + 3
Packing: We spent this weekend packing. Or should I say, Justin packed and I snuck around packing until I got in trouble and then I would sit for awhile until I couldn't stand it anymore :-) While I was packing my closet and eating pickles and popcorn, I found a package that I had been looking for. A long time ago when we started this journey and decided to try and have a baby, I just knew it was going to happen soon for us. Ha! That was a couple of years ago. Anyway, a few months in I ordered a surprise for Justin. This was how I was going to reveal the surprise when we found out we were preggars. Almost 3 years later, we are ready to reveal. I have 2 fabulous models (who were not nearly as excited as I am!!). And note: Oyster was a lot smaller when I ordered hers. She doesn't fit now. Her and Raleigh have to share. If you have a dog about 20 lbs or so and are expecting, let me know. I will send you the extra :-)
